Privacy Policy
This explains what Donut Network stores about you, why, who else is involved, and how to delete it.
What we store
- Your Discord profile: your Discord ID, display name and avatar link, when you joined and when you last signed in. We ask Discord for your identity only. We do not store your Discord password or access token. If the service is limited to members of a particular Discord server, we also ask Discord for your server list once while you sign in, only to check that you're a member, and we don't store it.
- Your Minecraft login: you sign in on Microsoft's page, so we never see your Microsoft password. To keep you online we store the login tokens that Microsoft and Xbox give the session, plus your Minecraft username. These let the session reconnect without asking you again.
- Your sessions: each session's label, the server address and version you chose, and your auto-reconnect state.
- Console logs: what the session sees and does on the server, including chat messages, whispers and system messages that reach your account, commands the session sends, and events such as joining, kicks and disconnects. Other players' messages that reach your account in chat are included in these logs.
- Money and history: your in-game balance over time and your connection history and uptime, built from the logs.
- Your settings: auto commands (scheduled commands), alert rules, your plan and plan limits, and how many commands you've used each day.
- Short-lived security data: to slow down abuse we count sign-in attempts and some actions per IP address or per account. These counters delete themselves within a few hours.
- On your device: one sign-in cookie (needed to stay signed in) and your light or dark theme choice.
Why we use it
Only to run the service for you: keep your sessions online, show your console and history, run your commands and alerts, apply your plan limits, and keep the service safe from abuse. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else is involved
- The Minecraft server you connect to. The session joins as your account, so that server sees the connection, your username and anything the session says or does there.
- Discord signs you in and delivers your alert DMs. Microsoft and Xbox sign in your Minecraft account.
- Our hosting and database providers store and run the service for us.
We don't share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Console logs are kept for 90 days, then older lines delete themselves.
- Everything else is kept until you delete your account.
Deleting your data
From your dashboard, choose Delete my account. That immediately signs your sessions out, removes your saved Minecraft login, and deletes your sessions, auto commands, alert settings, money history, plan, usage, settings and profile. Your console logs are removed from view straight away and wiped for good within 7 days. There is no cooldown, so you can sign up again whenever you like (as a new account).
Deleting your account doesn't remove anything that other parties hold about you, such as what the Minecraft server logged or your Discord and Microsoft accounts.
Your choices
You can see most of your data in the dashboard and delete your account at any time. If you need something else, such as a copy of your data or help with a deletion that failed, contact support.
Children
The service is not meant for anyone below the minimum age for Discord or for Minecraft accounts in their country.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top will change. We'll keep the sign-in and storage described above accurate.
