Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Donut Network (the "service"): the website, the dashboard and the Minecraft session service behind it. By signing in you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What the service is
Donut Network keeps a Minecraft account connected to a server while you're away, and gives you tools around it: a live console, scheduled commands, alerts to your Discord DMs, and history. It is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Mojang, Microsoft or DonutSMP.
Your account and your Minecraft login
- You sign in with Discord. You must meet Discord's minimum age and be allowed to use Minecraft under Mojang and Microsoft's rules.
- You link your own Minecraft (Microsoft) account, on Microsoft's own page. Only link an account that belongs to you.
- Keep your Discord account secure. What happens in sessions on your account is your responsibility.
Servers, rules and bans
The service connects to the Minecraft server you choose, as you. Many servers have rules about AFK, automated or scripted play, and may kick, mute or ban accounts for it. You are responsible for following the rules of every server you connect to and Minecraft's own terms. We are not responsible for kicks, bans, lost items, lost currency or anything else that happens to your account on a server.
What you may not do
- Connect to servers you aren't allowed to join, or use the service to attack, overload or probe any server or network.
- Try to reach private or internal addresses, get around the server limits, or get around the rate limits and plan limits.
- Use another person's account, or share access to your session in a way that breaks the rules above.
- Break the law, or use the service to harass or defraud others.
- Disrupt, reverse-engineer for abuse, or overload the service.
We may block servers, limit connections to an approved list, or restrict capacity at any time to keep the service running for everyone.
Plans and limits
Everyone starts on the Free plan. Plans set limits such as how many sessions you can run, how many commands you can send per day and how many automatic commands you can keep. The limits are shown on the home page and in your dashboard and can change. To move to a bigger plan, contact support. There is no online payment in the service itself.
Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Sessions can drop because of server restarts, Microsoft or Minecraft outages, our maintenance, or capacity limits, and we don't promise any uptime. Don't rely on it for anything where a disconnect would cause you real harm.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account and data from your dashboard (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed). We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of in-game items or currency, or account actions taken by a server or by Mojang or Microsoft. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
